New Song-Dernière

After nearly three years I have returned to add a new song. It is Dernière by Yann Tiersen. I see my Recently Added box no longer works properly, so in the next few days I shall work to fix that. For now, you can download it from the Yann Tiersen box, or directly from here.

RSS Finalization

Cleaned Things Up

The Newsletter box is now fully-funtional, as well as an entire newsletter suite thing that handles the form and send the newsletters to everyone. Also cleaned up some messy code so everything finally validates with W3C's validator. Public release is imminent.

Improved Sorting

When sorting by artist, pieces are now listed with respect to the date added, as they darn well should be.

Transition Completed

I'm happy to report that all the pieces have been successfully transitioned into an XML database. This was an integral phase in the transition to the new site, and the completion of this makes way for public release very soon.

New Features

Added a "Recently Added" smart group, as well as a "Sort By Popularity" option. User controls for this are not yet implemented.

Sorting By Artist Attempts

Attempts have been made to improve the sort by artist function by sorting each artist's pieces with respect to the date added. So far, attempts have been unsuccessful, but improvements are on their way.

Completed RSS Parsing

The "Latest News" box now parses the RSS feed directly, and allows for showing/hiding older news.
